In two weeks’ time, from 1 to 3 July, the second annual conference of the International Society of Public Law (ICON-S) will take place at New York University. This year’s theme is ‘Public Law in an Uncertain World’, and the programme looks great – especially the 70 panels put together as a result of the call for papers (well, I was on the programme committee, so there may be some bias in my assessment…). Ayelet Shachar will give a keynote speech, and we’ll have three plenary panels with stellar speakers on topics related to the main theme. I’ll also give a paper (on ‘Liquid authority in Global Governance’ in a panel on Friday, 3 July, at 9am – see my paper here) as well as a comment in the plenary panel on ‘Public Law under Conditions of Instability’ on Thursday, 2 July, at 4:30pm.
